Barometric pressure sensors are a specialized subset of absolute pressure sensors, specifically designed to measure ambient atmospheric pressure. Like absolute sensors, they use a sealed vacuum reference, but their pressure range is typically optimized for atmospheric pressure measurements between 30 kPa and 110 kPa, enabling higher resolution and accuracy in this specific range.
